OUR STORY

Hannah has always loved baking and eating the best treats. From a young age, she would be making something, from chocolate chip cookies to cupcakes for a cousin's wedding. For her 16th birthday, she and her dad flew to California for the day just to visit bakeries. Hannah continued with her hobby while attending BYU. She studied abroad in London finding new treats and inspiration every day. After returning she was not able to find a major that suited her, so she decided to transfer to Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island where she could study what she had always wanted too. She recently graduated with her bachelor’s in baking and pastry arts. Having worked and interned at The Grand America, The San Francisco Baking Institute and Les Madeleines she has now decided to follow her dreams and open her own shop, well online, for now, Buttered Bakeshop! We have purchased a store front and will be renovating it!
